§ 82-144. Sidewalks.

(a)

Improvement requirements. A five-foot wide concrete sidewalk located within the street right-of-way one foot from the property line on each side of the roadway shall be provided. A five-foot wide concrete sidewalk located within the street right-of-way one foot from the property line of any public roadway abutting or adjacent to the subdivision shall also be provided. The council may require sidewalks on only one side of the roadway in the case of major thoroughfares, industrial streets or marginal access streets.
