§ 46-136. Purpose of article.

The purpose of this article is to preserve and protect the public health, safety and general welfare of persons and property within the city by preventing, reducing and/or eliminating blight and potential blight in the city by the prevention and elimination of certain environmental and other causes of blight or blighting factors which exist or which may in the future exist within the city.
